ABOUT THE HUB SOLIHULL

The Hub is in the heart of Solihull, a small borough on the outskirts of Birmingham and now home to a growing Muslim community.

Born out of the desire to create something different, it is our belief that our primary concern should be to serve the needs of the local community and to work towards the common good, irrespective of creed or ethnicity.

Our aims are to:

  • Focus on the needs of the diverse Muslim community whilst ensuring facilities are open to all
  • Meet the needs of the local community by promoting health, education and social support
  • Provide Muslims and non-Muslims with the opportunity to learn and understand Islam, through dialogue, discussion and social interaction
  • Contribute to the social, cultural and spiritual enhancement of the whole community

The Hub works actively to promote tolerance and understanding. We enjoy excellent interfaith relations, holding regular interfaith meetings with representation from major faiths.

The Hub holds salah 5 times a day, Jum’a prayers and additionally tarawih and Eid Salah, in addition to various events throughout the year.

‘Feeding Hearts, Inspiring Souls’.
‘ ……an opportunity to help fulfil the trust you have from Allah, to impart a thorough understanding of Islam that is compatible to your child’s personal, social and spiritual requirements.’
