Senior School Islamic studies

The Hub Club senior section is for pupils in years 6 to 11 ( age 10 to 16)

Our senior Islamic Studies curriculum follows the structure of the Hadith of Sayyidina Jibreel (peace be upon him) and explores topics relating to:

• Character
• Faith
• Practice
• Spirituality

These subject areas map in part to topics from the ‘iSyllabus for Schools’ series of books in addition to teaching blocks related to Seerah, Ramadan and other topics.

The Islamic studies lessons are taught separate from the Ghazali Project lessons. The curriculum for the whole school is often enhanced by enrichment activities, workshops and external guests.

Children in year 9 onwards are progressed to the Cambridge IGCSE 0493 course.
